Resolved Question: 2 or 3 more mexican cities to explore?

I am Canadian (age 50) and already visited every U.S.A., some Europe and Puerto Rico, Dom. Rep, South-East Asia. Indeed, I never visited Mexico. I want to explore something new. I adore the cities, the parks and the nature. I got cheap airplane tickets inside Mexico if I reserve now. In a-10 day trip, I will visit at least 5 cities. I already selectionned Puerto Vallarta, Guadalajara and Mexico City. Which cities could be different of the others over that I should visit in priority? Monterrey, Merida, Chetumal, Tuxla Gutierrez, Veracruz, Oaxaca, Cancun, Acapulco. That would be a quick exploration (2 days in each locations). In future travels, I will explore the regions that I feel that should be explored a lot more. I might rent some cars as needed (cheap there!) in most locations.

Resolved Question: What do you do when something backfires?

3 weeks ago, we kidnapped this geezers wife. We figured that he would pay us a ransom demand of £250,000. She is quite a big lady and so we had to hire a suitable vehicle to abduct her in. Anyway, we got her back to the hideout which we had also rented and stocked up with a few days supplies, but the husband has told us that he doesn't want her back and we can keep her. She is eating us out of home and home, the vehicle we hired to abduct her in is now 5 days overdue, and to top it off, the bloke who's wife it is, has offered us £500,000 to whack her.... What do we do? It wasn't supposed to be like this, we was supposed to be in Acapulco now, with our £250,000. Instead we have lost our deposits with the holiday company, the car hire company and spent a tiny fortune on food.

Resolved Question: Mazatlan or Acapulco for a Honeymoon in January?

I am trying to decide where to go for my honeymoon. We want to receive out of the country, but can't afford to go much farther than Mexico. The fact that our wedding is in January limits our options as well. We currently live in Hawaii, so beaches alone aren't going to impress us. Resolved Question: Who's driven highway 95 from Mexico to Acapulco?

I'll be visiting Mexico City and Acapulco this winter, renting a car to make the back & forth... Who's driven the cuota from el DF to Acapulco, and what is your impression of it? Our flight gets in about 5pm, the trip is supposed to take 4 hours - is this too tardy to be driving that road? I've driven lots in other areas of Mexico, including the length of hwy 200 (costera) - so I am comfortable making this trip, but am wondering about the likelihood of an assault after dark. Also, during mid-december, about what time does it receive dark in that part of Mexico? Thanks! While living on the coast of Oaxaca I drove the costera to and from the nearest cities regardles of wheter it was dark or not. And, coming down the coast, we commonly drove until about 9pm without any problems - even in Sinaoloa which is supposed to be really bad for highway assaults. I plan to stay entirely on the cuota and only cease to pay tolls. Anybody else's experience / recomendations??? Change in plans, we receive into DF at 11:30am, so getting to the coast before dark won't be a problem. Thanks to every.

Resolved Question: Where to stay in Acapulco during December?

What area or hotel do you recommend for two single ladies and two kids in Acapulco? We'd like a nice place that's not too expensive. Resolved Question: How can I make my Mexican husband happier?

I am an American. My husband is Mexican, from Acapulco. Southwest region of Mexico. We have been dating for three years and married for almost 2 years now. However, we still have fights over cultural issues. I have always been a person willing to change. I try to do everything to make him glad but the culture still gets in my way. If you are a Mexican man or lady, can you tell me somethings that I should do to make him happier and more comfortable. I want more than anything for him to be glad. I don't want to sound like I want to be Mexican. I just want to make our home as close to his culture as I can. What is the appropriate things for a Mexican lady to do around the home and what things should she say to support her husband? The cultural issues are spending time with friends, staying out to tardy, disciplining the kids, etc. I married him because I adore him. I want our home to be as close to his culture as possible because I can go out in public and have my culture. He can not. I have asked him what he wants but he feels bad asking me to do things differently. Ok. Apparently I should add that I am not the one going out tardy with my friends. He is. I don't mind once in a while. But he goes out with his friends drinking until 4 in the morning and I am never allowed to go out past 10 or 11 and I definitely can't drink when I am not with him. I just want to know what else I shouldn't do so that he stays glad. I am not giving up who I am I just appreciate everything he does for our family. He has given up a lot to provide for me and our three kids and I want to do things for him too.

Resolved Question: hey can anyone help my story, i want to submit it for online publication?

oh and is for a surfing website - surfline --------- Barrels are difficult to find, they don’t pop in most corners of the earth you know. Which is why when I saw them every along a certain Mexican beach break - every peaky and square - adrenaline started pumping through my veins and my dopamine levels went through the roof. They looked promising, so smooth and elegant, a beautiful heaven which was my duty to insert myself into. Best part of every, I had no time restrains, my stay could be a day, week or month – things were cheap and time was spares. Who would off thought the first surf spot in this road trip would be so good? It was true gold – barrels and no crowds. Is there something better than this? And I got to tell you, after three remarkable days of driving – from San Diego – this was simply icing on the cake. Things however, did take a turn for the worst, and it may be fair to point out, nothing actually changed – just my perception. After a couple good beat-downs and more than memorable wipeouts, a 10 foot, top to bottom barrel pretty much seized to be a noble-enticing pal. In my very first session, I realized it will toss you around and make you wish sand in your ears was your only problem. This was my first time at a place so consistently epic… and also deadly. Hence I admit I was crapping my pants pretty badly. “Two people normally drown here each month - sometimes is three.” A local told me, as I was about to paddle out one morning. “Great” I thought “Just what I needed to hear” I suppose the local fishermen were to blame for the drowning, and not the surfers, but this place was bad which is what I intent to receive across. bad and perfect. And because of its perfection, we were out there every morning, which at the same time, we were keeping an eye on one and other… Although, in every reality, was nice of pointless cause’ in the end, we every knew we were on our possess. If you actually got clipped or caught inside, you swam for your life and hoped somebody up high liked you. But I had no time retrains and was determined to tame the beast and master my skills. So one board went by and another one soon followed… “Put it together” I told the only repair man in town as I handed him my two pieces of foam. That was my last board so I had to sit that one out…. I remember I sat down every day below an umbrella; I was simply watching the waves explode over the shallow sandbars. There were few takers here and there, trying to channel the Pacific’s energy into what could be called some-what-pacific-energies. But few succeeded and the relax just made up for a great show. Upon watching for a while I did arrive to the conclusion there were many, many ways to mess up a perfect wave, catch a rail, a paddle short, a pump away… way too many to list really. Day 4: I gotten a couple good ones, my travel partners had also, swell was starting to receive out of hand and we every had dramatically reduced our quivers. Awesome, now lets quick forward to day 7: “There is absolutely no way in hell I am paddling out there!”… And I had to agree with my pal… 20 feet bombs were the dish of the day and to top it every, I could only count 6 guys out there, out of which, two were towing – It was time for us to go. So we drove off and surfed some okay pointbreaks, partied in Acapulco and later on got some pits in Puerto. The trip then, went on to Guatemala and El Salvador. And to be honest, surf in general was good every around… but nothing ever came close to our first locale. And now something I told my pal resounds in my head “This place is real good, but if this is the best surf we receive in the 40 days we got, I’d be nice of pissed” – Spoiled brat… -------------- thanks, and any advice or help is good.
